Tips about Automotive Applications
Clean headlamps pay dividends
All road users benefit from clean headlamp lenses, but only the police profit from dirty ones. While clean headlamps produce the brightness required to ensure maximum safety, drivers on the road with grimy headlamps risk fines of ten euros.
However, care is required – you should never clean polycarbonate headlamps without water or with an abrasive sponge, as this can scratch the lenses. And if your car has spray washers to clean the headlamps, make sure you follow the directions in the vehicle’s operating manual when you want to add anti-freeze or detergent to the water. Aggressive or inappropriate substances could damage the lens.
